Show j FAIRVIEW By Special Correspondence ' Under the direction of Elmer Tim othy, the agriculture boys organized organiz-ed an Ag club Monday evening at the high school. The following officers of-ficers were elected: Ned Tucker, president; Robert Johnson, vice president; Ross Johnson, secretary-treasurer. secretary-treasurer. E. A. Madsen spoke on the breeding and feeding of sheep. A. U. Miner gave a talk on the three phases of dairying. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Pherson of Salt Lake City were Fairview visitors visi-tors this week. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Anderson, and Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Anderson ol Burnt Fork, Wyoming, spent the week here with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Loren Hamilton and family who have spent the past year in Salt Lake City, returned last week to heir home in Fairview. Mrs Sarah S Fowles and daughter daugh-ter Lily of Salt Lake City spent the week wih Fairview relatives. They returned home Friday. Mr. S. S. Sanderson of Salt Lake City spent the past week with relatives rel-atives here. More than 60 attended the special spec-ial Farm Bureau meeting in the high school Monday evening. President S D. Bills presided. County president presi-dent Amasa Rasmussen, Hyrum U. Mo- er, and E. A. Madsen were the speakers, speaking on the different projects to be taken up this year. Musical numbers were furnished by a quarette composed of Marion Tucker and company. Thj principal prin-cipal subject of the meeting was a round table discussion of the Gooseberry Goose-berry water project. The following committees were appointed: committee com-mittee on wheat pooling and organization organ-ization E. A. Madsen, Mnitland Graham, Newell Cox, ; committee on irrigation Burns Cox, Tillman Graham. Gra-ham. Aaron Cheney; rrmmittee on catile and hog marketing, Heber Pherson, Amasa Terry. Lawrence Larsen. Chancy Howell was elected chairman chair-man of the Gooseberry water subscription sub-scription with Lawrence Allred, George Day and Leonard Poulsen as committeemen. |
