Show 3 Cars of Poultry House Material for Mt. Pleasant At the poultry evening class last Monday night, orders were placed with the Building Committee a-mounting a-mounting to three car-loads of poultry poul-try house building materials. The order is being handled by the local dealer, Hansen Lumber Compny, who has listed special low prices for this material. Mt. Pleasant may become a poultry town. What dn you say? The Building committee commit-tee is composed of Grant Olsen, V. H. Gunderson and Ras Monsen. Mr. K. Jensen, manager or the Utah Poultry Producers Cooperative Coopera-tive Association egg grading plant at Manti, gave an egg grading demonstration demon-stration and talked along the line of why strict, careful grading is desirable de-sirable from the standpoint of the association members. He also informed in-formed the producers of the fact that the high quality egg, "Extra,' is now being made a still higher quality egg with the hope of bring-market bring-market and more money to Utah market and more money tot Utah. Mr. Jensen said that at present Utah can furnish New York Citv with eggs for only one breakfast every three weeks. We ship twenty twen-ty cars each week, while New York City uses sixty cars of eggs each day. On next Monday evening at the N. S. high school at 7:30 o'clock, C. O. Stott, county agent for Sanpete San-pete County, will talk on "Poultry Record Keeping" and also on "Poultry "Poul-try Outlook for 1930." |
