Show ! FOUNTAIN GREEN 1 1 By Special Correspondence Conjoint session was held Sun-evening. Sun-evening. Bisin-p Belliston of :ephi spoke and short talks were given by a number of missionaries. Mr. Laurence Sardoni rendered a violin vio-lin solo and Randal Christiansen gave a vocal solo. Several relatives and friends attended at-tended the funeral in Provo last week of Mrs. Polly Draper Murray, who died of cancer of the stomach. Her one siser, Mrs. Andrew Bar-entson, Bar-entson, resides here. The Elders quorum gave a dance Friday evening. A large crowd, wa i present. Mrs. Joseph R. Ch ri st i a n s p n, Mrs. L. R. Ivory, Mrs. Arthur Anderson An-derson and Mrs. Vernon Anderson of Mt. Pleasant entertained their husbands and a few guests last week at the Christiansen home. Special guests included Mrs. Abe Livingston, Mrs. Milton Oldroyd and Dr. and Mrs. H. E. Dice of Moroni. Herbert Allred and Rulon Johnson John-son brought a mountain lion to town last Sunday. They caught the lion in Nephi canyon and had some real thrills before they finally fin-ally killed it. It weighed 80 pounds and measured T2 feet. The ward choir will present a Christmas cantata, "King All Glorious", Glor-ious", and a program in the afternoon after-noon and evening of December 23. The choir is working hard to present pre-sent this and they hope everyone will come to see it. The proceeds will be used to purchase new music books for the choir. The Road Show was presented on December 6th. Four wards out of the six used the M. I. A. activities activ-ities as their themes. The plays were original. Freedom ward was recently organized and they are very active in their work. |
