Show Plans for M Men and Gleaner Girls Annual Banquet The annual North Sanpete Stake M. Mens and Gleaner Girls banqr.et and ball will be held Saturday evening eve-ning March 9 at Moroni. A. W. Anderson and Mrs. Seymour Jensen, senior leaders, North Sanpete M. I. A. stake board, are in charge of the function. Other committees are: program Seymour Jensen, Stake Y. M. M. I. A. superintendent, Mrs. Tina Nelson, stake Y. L. M. I. A. president, Mrs. Ila Andereson. Ticket A. W. Anderson, Miss Pearl Jorgensen, A. E. Darley. Publicity Miss Aria Simpson, chairman; chair-man; Emil Routishauser, John T. Cliff. Banquet Mrs. Dora Lamb, chairman; chair-man; Retta Bailey, Sarah Kellett, Ur-vin Ur-vin Gee, Vernile Jensen, Leonard Anderson. An-derson. Table and decorations Rena Neil-son, Neil-son, chairman; Dorothea Olsen, Florence Flor-ence and Rulon Johnson, Leonard Eliasen, Nelden Simpson. The young people will assemble at the East Ward chapel at 6:30 p. m. for a short "get acquainted" program. The banquet will be served at 7 p. m. Bishop Elmo Irons will say grace. President S. M. Nielsen, Mount Pleas ant, will act as toastmaster. The "green and gold" wil be toasted by Reese Anderson, Mount Pleasant south ward, Gleaner girl, Fairview north, respectively. "So Big" by Edna Fer-ber, Fer-ber, this year's class book wlU be toasted by an M. Man from the Moroni Mo-roni east ward. Other features during the banquet ban-quet are: M. Mens chorus, Spring City; Gleaner Girls chorus, Mount Pleasant north ward; vocal solo, Joseph Robertson, Robert-son, Fountan Green; instrumental selection, se-lection, Moroni west ward; reading, Gleaner, Fairview south; orchestra selection, Mount Pleasant south. Dancing at Paradise Gardens at 9 p. m. will be the concluding feature. Mrs. Frank Larsen entertained ths . Womens Progressive Club at her home, Thursday February 29. The club song was sung by all members. Mrs. Alic Poulson gave a reading, "When the Frost is on the Prospects;" read- ing, "Have You Had Your Jolt?", Mrs. Charles Truscott; reading, "Benjamin "Benja-min Franklin's Mother," Mrs. Sarah D. Wilcox. Eleven members were . present. A party for the near future fu-ture was planned at this meeting. Refreshments Re-freshments were served. Next week the Wcmens Progressive Club will meet at the home of Mrs. Alic Poulson. |
