Show Sanpete County Home Wool Producers Pro-ducers Form Pool Thirty- five home wool producers representing eight, communities voted in a meeting held at Ephraim in the City Council Chambers Saturday afternoon after-noon to organize a county wool pool, which would include a federation of a part or all of the twelve community wool pools that are now organized throughout the County. President A. P. Reynolds of the Sanpete San-pete County Farm Bureau called the meeting to order and turned chairmanship chair-manship over to County Wool Project leader, E. A. Madsen of Fairview. President J. L. Nielsen of Fountain Green, Vice President of the Utah Wool Growers Asociation talked on cooperative marketing and urged support sup-port in the movement. County Agent C. O. Stott. stated that local wool pools were now organized or-ganized a Fairview, Mount Pleasant, Spring City, Wales, Chester, Moroni, Manti, Mayfield, Axtell, Centerfield, Clarion, and Fayette; and that most of these pools would probably come into in-to a County Federated Pool, which would represent between twenty-five and thirty thousand fleeces. A committee of three S. D. Mills oi Fairview, Grant Dyreng of Manti, and John Larsen of Mayfield, were appointed ap-pointed by the meeting to cooperate with County Leader E. A. Madsen and the County Agent in drafting Articles of Agreement for the County Pool. This committee will meet Monday at 1:00 p. m. at County Agent Stott's office of-fice at Manti for this purpose. |
