Ry Special Correspondence The Gleaner girls held a party Saturday evening at the home ol one of their teachers, Mrs. Etta Thompson, who is retiring on account ac-count of leaving town. Games were played and dainty refreshments refresh-ments were served to the following: follow-ing: Mrs. Geneva Justesen, president; pres-ident; Miss Manett Allred, teacn-er; teacn-er; Maude Schofield, Edna Jensen, Winnona Justesen, Nedra Larsen Evah Mortensen, Mildred Chris-toffersen, Chris-toffersen, Velda Aiken, Bernice Baxter, Reah Allred and Eleaner Larsen. Mrs. Thompson was presented pre-sented with a serving tray as a token of appreciation and remembrance. re-membrance. Miss Geniel Allred attended Leadership Week at Provo. Arthel Allred and Void Sorensen Soren-sen left Sunday for the Livestock company where they have employment. em-ployment. Mr. Cutler Schofield has moved-his moved-his family in the house owned by Miss Leolette Christensen east of the school campus. Mrs. Louise Christensen is spending the winter with hei children in Price. A vaudeville show was presented at the Victory Theatre Monday and Tuesday. All people over 65 years of age were invited guests. Parent Teachers meeting was held in the hich cphnr.1 hniM Wednesday evening. A delightful ice cream party was enjoyed by a number of boy friends of Jay Larsen at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Hor-ace Larsen Sunday evening. Wayne Nunley, who has been seriously ill at his home, is reported re-ported to be improving. Rodney Brough, Golden Hansen and Lynn Nielsen returned home Thursday after a year's work at the Livestock company. |
