Show Sanpete County Farm Bureau Is Reorganized Saturdy, January 11th at Eph. raim the Sanpete County Farm Bureau held their annual meeting and a reorganization was effected with the following executive coni-' mitte being elected: Amasa Raj. mussen. Fairview, president; Mrs. . W. Jensen, Ephraim, vice presi. dent; B. L. Frandsen, Clarion, board member, George B. Cox, Jr, Manti, board member; Thomas W. Jensen, Mt. Pleasant, board member. mem-ber. A secretary treasurer will t appointed by the president. Re. tiring secretary, Dr. W. E. 'Thorpe of Ephraim was released with a vot of thanks for long and efficient ser-vice ser-vice rendered. There were fourteen in attendance at the meeting representing eight communities. Plans were laid for activities fter the state convention. A motion carried unanimously to the effect that the executive board waits on the Sanpete County Com-missioners Com-missioners in a body and request that the County Extension Budget be raised from twelve to fifteen hundred dollars; and also that that "Weed control" be made a major ma-jor project in the county, for ell cooperating agencies in 1930. |
