Show Sanpete Wool Growers Study Marketing Problems A series of meetings were concluded con-cluded Tuesday which began on the 3rd, and were held at Fairview, Mt. Pleasant, Moroni, Ephraim and Centerfield. for the consideration of wool marketing problems, with Professor A. C. Esplin, wool specialist special-ist of the Stat Extension Service. The meetings were sponsored by tht local wool marketing association in the several towns. Wool grading 'lemonstrations were given by Professor Pro-fessor Esplin in the communities listed. Mount Pleasant home feed wool producers reorganized their wool marketing association, with P. A. Peel as chairman, Wm. Millar, vice chairman, and George C. Sorenson, secretary. At the meeting sixty-five sixty-five of the Mt. Pleasant wool pool growers voted to grade their wool at shearing time next spring. The grading will be done in cooperation coopera-tion with the County Extension Office Of-fice and under the personal supervision super-vision of Prof. A. C. Esplin. Grades and classes of wool will be sacked separately labeled properly. The Wool producers throughout the County expressed a willingness to cooperate with state and federal agencies in marketing their products prod-ucts on a large scale. |
