The great amount of interest being demonstrated demon-strated In poultry in this section signifies that the crowd will be large and that Mr. Ivins will be under un-der a heavy and continuous question ques-tion bombardment. Here the crowd will assemble as-semble to give Mr. Ivins a ctiance to tell us a little of his poultry ex- -perience and give the local poultry-men poultry-men an opportunity to get a few side-lights on their problems. Mr. Tvins knows the poultry game as well as any man in Utah and his visit with us should prove very valuable valu-able to some of our poultrymen who are just looking into the business. Another opportunity will follow poultry day for the progressive. Nine other poultry classes will bo offered. Each evening or afternoon such subjects as the folowing wil, be treated and discussed: "Brooding, "Brood-ing, feeding and rearing chickens," "Feeding the laying flock," "Market "Mar-ket grades of eggs and how to produce pro-duce extras," "Culling the flock," "Poultry diseases and how to pra-vent pra-vent them." Each meeting will be held at the High School at a time selected by the men and women registering for the course. Experts will be imported im-ported to lead these discussions In many cases. At the close of the course we will join the Sanpete County trip to the Draper Poultry plants. If we want hens let's do the Job right. |
