Show NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS Mrs. Lenore Gordon came home from Salt Lake Wednesday. Miss Deane Webb went to Salt Lake City Monday, where she will attend the Utah Business College. Mr. and Mrs. William Tebbs and daughter, Jessie, returned Tuesday to their home at Pauguitch after a month's visit with relatives in this city. Lenna Brown was hostess at a birthday party Saturday evening, lier guests were June Young, Vera Hasler, May Clemensen," Venetta Slansfield and Frances Christensen. Miss Theo Nelson entertained at a kensington Wednesday evening for Arcilee Barnet, Addie Anderson, Eva Simpson, Kate Ericksen, Goldie Neil-son Neil-son and Gladys Ericksen, the Justa-mere Justa-mere club. Miss Bernice Madsen entertained in honor of Miss Ivy Bjornson Friday evening. Her guests were, besides the honor guest, Helen Hansen, Oleah Wall, Helen Boyden, Maurine Manning, Man-ning, lone Carter, Eloese Hansen and Bernita Hansen. Elmira Barton entertained Tuesday Tues-day evening in honor of Miss Ivy Bjornson of San Diego, Cal. Other guests were Marjorie Winters, Helen Larsen, Ruth Monsen, Ruth Cand-land, Cand-land, Winona Cherry, Margaret Johnson, John-son, Bernice Madsen and Bernita Hansen. Mrs. Agusta Weil, Mrs. Caroline Kreiger and Alethea Gunderson, in company with Mr. and Mrs. John K. Madsen, motored to Salt Lake Tuesday Tues-day to attend the Fair. Mrs. Well and Mrs. Kreiger leave for their homes in St. Louis after visiting here for some time. Miss Alethea will accompany ac-company them to attend school. Mrs. Thomas West was hostess at a dinner party Monday In honor of her husband's birthday. Covers were placed for Mrs. Lizzie Hampshire, Hamp-shire, Byron Hampshire, Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Barton, Mrs. R. L. Madsen, Mrs. Hyrum Seely, Ivy Bjornson, Boyd and Broks Madsen and Willie Barton. Miss Ruby Olson entertained at an elaborate dinner party Friday evening even-ing in honor ot her nineteenth birthday birth-day anniversary. She was assisted by her sister, Lydia Olson. Her guests were Alpha Madsen, Vera Hasler, May Clemensen, Ina Ericksen, Hazel Barton, Ada Gunderson, Alta Stans-field Stans-field and Venetta Stansfield. Mrs. Abner Crane and daughter, Mr". E. W. Wall entertained the Home CultfTre club at the home of the former Wednesday afternoon. Miss Margaret Thurmau gave a book review of "How to Live," and vocal selections were rendered by Miss Marjorie Wall. Two-new members, Mrs. William E. Madsen and Mrs. E. C. Johnson were made members of the club. Mrs. George A. Petersen was hostess host-ess at a prettily arranged miscellaneous miscel-laneous shower at her home Friday afternoon in compliment to her husband's hus-band's sister, Miss Mary Petersen, a bride of this week. The guests were Mary Petersen, Mrs. Louis A. Petersen, Peter-sen, Mrs. Leo Seely, Mrs. A. W. Procter, Proc-ter, Mrs. Mina H. Sorensen, Mrs. A. V. Mcintosh, Mrs. Elma N. Schneider, Tina Ericksen, Hilda Madsen, Stella Olson, Mrs. Viola W. Ruff, Mrs. A. D. Christensen, Mrs. Tressa L. Ericksen Erick-sen and Mrs. J. Elmer Johansen. Miss Alethea Gunderson was very pleasantly surprised F'riday evening by her friends. Light refreshments were served. Music and dancing was enjoyed by Elda Hafen, Vida Kadsen, Vera Brewer. Louise Cherry, Xorane Manning. Oleah Wall, Berneta and Helen Hansen, Ethel Gunderson, Helen Boyden, Bernice Madsen, and Loren Ericksen, Shirley Ericksen. Ernest Foulson, Shirley and Glen B.
