Show S. C. J ESSEN DEAD Funeral services were held for S. C. Jessen Thursday afternoon at the Hansen Undertaking Parlors. Rev. R. B. Norton conducting the services. "My Jesus As Thou Wilt," and "O! Think of the Home Over There," were sung by G. Oscar Robinson, Miss Lucile Tyselling, Miss Myrle Anderson Ander-son and Rev. Norton. A small cor-tegie cor-tegie went to the cemetery where Rev. Norton read the Committal Service. Ser-vice. The following, relatives were present pres-ent at the funeral: Mrs. Charles Pe- j tersen of this city, Mr. and Mrs. O. p jessen of Kingston, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Jessen of Richfield, and Mrs. J. T. World of Salt Lake City. Mr. S. C. Jessen was born In Rrigham City, Utah, October 1, 1856. He was the son of Jesse and Cath-riiie Cath-riiie Jessen.' He came to Mount Pleasant with his parents in 1S61, spent most of his boyhood days here and later moved to Lamoille, Nevada, where he died Ortoher 1, 1917. |
