Show .JUDGE GKORGE CHRISTEN' SEN The electors of the Seventh Judicial Ju-dicial District of the State of Utah will have an opportunity at the coming com-ing election to again place Hon. George Christensen upon the Bench. It is generally conceded that, except ex-cept for the fact that many of the voters at the 1920 election made mistakes mis-takes in marking their ballots, thus making it impossible to count them for him, as was clearly intended, he would now be wearing the judicial ermine. He is so well and favorably known throughout the District, but particularly par-ticularly in Sanpete County, that it would seem unnecessary to call the voters' attention to the distinguished services performed by him. We have known him as a leading educator, a thorough business man, an exemplary citizen, a successful lawyer and an upright judge. No one has ever doubted his honesty. of purpose, his wisdom to discern, his courage to judge fairly and impartially between litigants. All classes of citizens can confidently and implicitly rely upon him to correctly and justly solve and decide their differences. There should be no hesitancy on the part of any voter, because of political affiliations, af-filiations, to give him support. The sentiment favoring a nonpartisan judiciary is each succeeding year gathering additional strength; and it is not at all unlikely that in the not. distant future judges w:ill be elected solely because of their special fitness to render wise and unbiased service. |
