Show Word has been received here by S. E. Jensen that his son, Rex S. Jensen Jen-sen of Mei'ba, Idaho, had been taken to a hospital at Boise Sunday to receive re-ceive treatment for a serious case of bloodpoison. He is reported to have returned to Melba on Wednesday feeling some better. j F. A. Yeamans, factory man for the Firestone Tire company, has been in Mt. Pleasant this week, and while here put on a special window display . of Firestone tires at Locke & Johns Garage. I An enthusiastic Christian Endeavor j meeting was held Monday night at the home of Rev. A. V. Boand at which time organization of a M. P. I O. B. club was effected. The local chapter will be No. 4, and was addressed ad-dressed Monday night by Ray King of Salt Lake, press superintendent of the state Christian Endeavor. The charter members of the Mt. Pleasant club are: May Clemensen, Jean Mey-rick, Mey-rick, Frances Jensen, Ida Lovell, Eva May', Ruth Wall, Thelma Beaumann, El Rasmussen, Jean Mahood, Ruth Keusseff, Phyllis Burton, Christine Gordon, Edna Matson, Dorothy Wall, Dorothy Nelson, Mildred Hilswick. Russell Goodman, Daniel Wall and Rev. and Mrs. A. V. Boand. The officers of the new club will be selected this week and the club will join with other M. P. O. B. clubs in the state in the celebration of M. P. O. B. Day, Friday, September 29. The local club expects to launch a spirited campaign for the state con-' con-' vention of Christian Endeavorers to be held in Mt. Pleasant, October 27, 28, and 29. ' |
