Show ll'.BY CONTEST Thursday of last wc;k a very successful suc-cessful baby contest was held in the K.hibition building at, the Sanpete County Fair at Manti. The clinic consisted of Dr. A. .1. N.e.lson and Dr. A. J. Anderson of Ephraim, Dr. U. Q. Christensen of Gunnison, and Dr. Sharp of Manti. 79 babies, ranging rang-ing in age from 2 months to 5 years, were examined and the following prizes were given : Best Boy under six months: 1st, Harold Braithwaite, Manti; 2nd, Phillip Anderson, Ephraim; 3rd, Claire Alder, Manti. Best Girl under six months: 1st, Martha Lois Tooth, Manti; 2nd. Dor-ihella Dor-ihella Larson. Sterling; 3rd Verna Larson, Axtell. Best Boy over G months and under un-der 1 year: Wayne Hall, Manti; 2nd Hilly Peterson, Ephraim; 3rd, .Tack Alder, .Manti. Best Girl over G Months, and under un-der 1 year: 1st, Darlina Ttiltle, Manti; Man-ti; 3rd .lean Larson, Sterling. Rest Hoy. between 1 and 3 years: 1st, llerchell Metcalf, GmnniRon; 2nd Kichard Harmon, Manti; 3rd, Oscar Beck, Centerfield. Best Girl between 1 and 3 years: 1st. Elma Hall, Manti; 2nd Carol Anderson.
