Show Vernon Mcintosh, son of Bishop and Mrs. A. E. Mcintosh; has been critically ill since Sunday. He has teen troubled with Hemo-philia, or profuse bleeding, and which during Monday and Tuesday very nearly proved fatal. At present there is some improvement improve-ment and the chances for a recovery seem brighter. It was necessary for the attending physician to transfuse blood from two individuals to him on three different occasions. This apparently was the only thin.g that really produced a change for the better in his case. Buddy, the three year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Lavar Oldham, while Playing Saturday with some older children, was shot in the eye with an arrow shot from a bow. Ihe child was taken to Salt Lake Sunday for treatment, but it is feared the eye stent was destroyed. Mrs. Hans Brothersen, Sr. was the recipient of a very successful surprise sur-prise dinner given at her home Tuesday Tues-day evenir,; by a party of her friends and neighbors. Following dinner a melon bust was enjoyed. The guests included Mrs. Miranda Oman, Mrs. A. Crane, Mrs. A. G. Nelson, Mrs. A. Syndergaard, Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Jensen, Jen-sen, Mrs. Annie B. Andersen, Mrs. Sena Jensen, Mr. and Mrs. Christian Brothersen, Mrs. George Rylaud or Price, Mrs. E. K. Barton, Mr. ana Mrs. J. N. Seelv, Mr. and Mrs. R. N-Bennett, N-Bennett, Rev. N. E. Clemensen and Hyrum Seely. |
