WINDER PREDICTS "BIC STATE EXPOSITION That the state exposition of 1 0'2'J will be both, varied and representative of Utah's industries, resources and school activities, was the assurance ol President W. C. Winder in a recent communication addressed to exhibitor exhibi-tor of last year. He made an urgent appeal for cooperation in the forth, coming exhibit and declared it possible pos-sible to maintain the high standard ol other years, notwithstanding the fact that it has become necessary to retrench re-trench in a number of directions. The appeal reads in part as follow! : "While conditrins, in the way of permanent per-manent improvements and otherwise, made it necessary to retrench in all departments, the cash awards are liberal and we feel sure our friends will approve this action, which will eventually put the fair association on a sounder and better financial basis. "With the somewhat easier financial conditions now existing, better prices for products of the farm, including livestock, there is every reason to feel our attendance, especially from out side of Salt Lake, will be larger than far several seasons past an added incentive in-centive for your being represented. "An attractive program of races aports and other amusements has been ' arranged. In conclusion we would like to state that the city, state and county employees are contributing their support sup-port to the 1922 fair by actual time and labor during the week of the fair." |
