Mrs. Jennie Christensen is visiting visit-ing with her husband at Eureka. Miss Afton Wilson is visiting in Salt Lake City. She left Mt. Pleasant Pleas-ant on Wednesday. Mrs. Ole Nielson is visiting with her son, Clifford, in Salt Lake City this week. Lucile Renberg is a Spanish Fork visitor. Lewis Peterson went to Spanish Fork last Wedneseay. C. D. Strang went to Salt Lake City Wednesday on a short business trip. Mr. and Mrs. Dolph Lasson are visiting with Mr. and Mr. S. P. Sor-enson, Sor-enson, parents of Mrs. Lasson. Mrs. Florence Holliday of Provo is also visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. P. Sorenson. Eugene Snow of Sterling, who has been employed in this city for some time on the new electric light plant, returned to his home on Wednesday to spend Pioneer Day. Mrs. H. LeRoy Nielson is visiting with her parents in Osborn, Ohio. She was called there last week on account of the ijlness of her father Edgar E. Madsen purchased the new Studebaker Automobile which Wallace Petty has been running the past month. Mr. Petty also has purchased another new machine of the very same make. This makes another antomobile for Mount Pleasant. If the roads are kept up in good condition one may expect to see a large number of machines in this city next season. Mrs. Ernest Draper is at Hyrum Utah visiting with her sister. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Lowe of Murray Mur-ray are visiting with friends and relatives in Mt. Pleasant this week. George Cliff of the Pyramid Staff is on a two weeks vacation which he is spending at Heber City with his brother, Parley Cliff . He left last Tuesday for his vacation and expects to visit with the boys of Company D. who are encamped at that place before he returns. Mrs. Harriet Cliff is visiting with her son, Parley Cliff, at Heber City. She left Mount Pleasant 1 ast Tuesday Tues-day afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. P. M. McArthur returned re-turned from Salt Lake City last Sunday. Sun-day. Mrs. McArthur has been visiting vis-iting with her sister, Mrs. J. S. Air-met Air-met in Idaho for about a month. While in Salt Lake they were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Seymour Sey-mour R. Dorius. Mrs. D. A. Candland of Salt Lake City has been visiting with friends and relatives in this city for several dayi this week. Mrs. Ida Sessions and daughter Julia, of Anaconda, Montana, have been visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Fechser at Moroni and also H. P. Jorgensen of Mount Pleasant for a month. She left for her home in Wyoming last Sunday afternoon. We received a request from someone some-one in Mason Ohio to send the Pyramid to them at Topeka Kansas. There was uo name given and if the party desiring to receive the paper will kindly let us know the name to whom it is to be sent we shall be pleased to favor the request. Miss Nellie McArthur came home from Salt Lak,e City last Monday. She taught in the city schools last year. |
