They received quite Y a shock at Gunnison for the game scored 7 to 1 in Gunnison's favor, f This made the Owls excoedingly vicious when they attacked Richfield and they made 5 tallies to Richfield's 2.. Highly pleased, they hurried to Salina before the spell wore off and again fortune favored them with j the spoils which were 4 to 3. By I this time Richfield had worked up I considerable energy and invited The Owls were delighted, feeling g-'eat in ability although they had been deprived of their regular day sleep. But before be-fore they were aware of it, Richfield carried off the day with a score of j 18-2. The Owls tried to make their flight home by night, t-ut fate seemed seem-ed to be against nature for the cars broke down south of Sterling. Some of the Owls remained in the auto s seats for a nap while the others 'took the only really safe kind of transportation to Manti. All ar- rived at home Monday afternoon. Mr. Wilford Ruff and children went to Salt Lake last week. His wife is there being treated for her health and he will remain to work. After a pleasant month's visit with M.s. J. IF. Fescher, Mrs. Ida Sessions left Sunday for Salt Lake where she will remain for a while and then return to her home in Montana. Mr. Grover Bradley went to Salt Lake Monday to join the University of Utah 'Dramatic Club. He plays the part of Lysaader in "A Midsummer Mid-summer Night's Dream" which will be produced at Ogden July 24th. |
