Show i ll j Spring City Fergus Johnson and family have gone to Salt Lake City to live. Mr. Johns jn lecently sold his home to Arthur Anderson. I A crowd of young ladies gave Miss Etiielene Allred a china shower at her home Monday evening prior to her marriage to Arthur Anderson. i Miss Ethelene Allred and Arthur j Anderson were married Wednesday Oct. 10th, and they gave a reception I the same evening at the OperaHouse. ' A large attendance of their relatives and friends were present and many presents presented. Mrs. Otto Larsen went to Spring-ville Spring-ville Tuesday to attend the funeral i of her brother's wife, Mrs. James Ellis whD died suddenly at that place Monday. The funeral was held Wed nesday. Thomas Davis, who lost his wife three months ago at Winter Quarters, Quart-ers, lost his three-months child also. It died Sunday morning and was brought to Spring City for burial Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Marenus Larsen Lar-sen who have had the care of the child since the death of the young mother, who was their daughter, came over with the remains from Winter Quarters, also their two daughteis and sons in-law and Mr. Davis's mother and brother were along. Joseph Justesen and his young ; wife, who were married recently, since coming to Utah, and Erastus Beck, all of Gridley. California, have been visiting their relatives here for a week guests of their brother, S. T. Beck and their sister, Mrs. Wm. Osborne. Os-borne. Judge Jocob Johnson went to Salt Lake Monday. Mrs. Johnson has been at Logan for some time with her two daughters, Dora and Lola. Lola being sick with typhoid fever, having taken sick while she and Dora were attending school at the A. C. college. Vincent Majors of Spring City and Gathia Nielsen of Moroni were married mar-ried at Manti Wednesday Oct. 16th. They will make Spring City their home. Joseph Anderson and his wife have gone to Salt Lake City to live. Dr. John T. Miller was at Spring City Thursday evening Oct. 17th and lectured on moral education at the tabernacle. Christian Anderson, Will Puzey and Orsen Acord have gone to Garland, Gar-land, Utah to work at the sugar factory. Wm. E. Robinson has gone to Idaho Ida-ho to work for a couple of months. His son Leonard, will soon be married mar-ried and expects to make his home in the north. Mrs. Sarah Clawson is visiting wi(h her daughter, Mrs. LeRoy Johnson John-son in Salt Lake. Rumor has it that there are a number num-ber of marriages stated for the near future in Spring City. The Young Men and Young Ladies Lad-ies Mutual Improvement Associations Associa-tions are beginning their season's work. This yrar they will hold it on Sunday evenings in the annex of the tabernacle. |
