Show Prehistoric Burial Ground An interesting find, from an arch-aelogical arch-aelogical point of Tiew has been made in the showyard of the Highland an Agricultural Society at Cupar, Fife-shire, Fife-shire, Scotland. Some excavations were being made in connection with the erection of a stand, when the workmen engaged came upon a number num-ber of stone coffins containing human skeletons. The shape of the coffins gave evidence of great antiquity, but were allowed to remain as discovered. This is the second occasion that burn bu-rn in remains have been found since th work of erection of the showyard commenced. All over Fife, and especially espe-cially in the north of the county, traces of stone coffins and prehistoric intfrments have been found. The coffins cof-fins which have been discovered may be prehistoric or may have been plac- j ed in the burial ground in connection with the old Parish Church of Supar. which was in existence in the twelfth century or even earlier.
