Show i -. AN APPEAL TO YOUNG MEN On Tuesday evening of next week our season's work will begin in the Young Men's Mutual Improvement Association, and it is my earnest desire to have tne youny men of the North Ward come out and make the opening night one big event in the history of Mutual work in Mt. Pleasant. There is no better place for a young man to spend an hour of his time than at the Young Men's Mutual. Mu-tual. I will do all in my power to make it interestirg for all younff men who attend tocrethpr with mv councilors and teachers, both socially and spiritually, do not spend all of your evenings seeking pleasure, read what Paul says about pleasure seekers. "The unsatisfactory con dition of the pleasure seekers, whos end is destruction, whose God is their stomach, whose glory is their shame, who mind earthly things. Again he declares. Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth and have been wanton, go now weep and howl for your miseries that shall come apon you." We must therefore use wisdom there is a time for everything, come and spend an hour with in the j Mutual. I C. D. Strang, Pres. Y. L. M. I. A. NorthlWard. |
