Show GOVERNMENT ISSUES 1914 CROP REPORT Washington, D. C, Feb. 25. Thi crop reporting board of the Federa. Department of Agriculture has jus. made public its estimate of the 19 1-. farm crops of the United Slates. ': ourteen crops, covering 300.782. ooo acres or 92 per cent of the na tion's cultivated area are included ii the report and the combined fnrn value of all products is estimated al $4,946,000,000. Although the 1914 production o" crop? is 10 per cent greater than the previous year the aggregate farn I value is $20,000,000 less. Both the wheat and the cottoi crops of the nation in 1914 were the largest on record. The cotton crop was nearly 16.000. 000 bales and thi : wheat production was approximated 891.000.000 bushels. While the 1914 cotton crop was approximately 1.-800 1.-800 000 bales more than the one o 1913 the value was $306,000,000 less.
