Show FAVORS RAISE IN WAGES. Head of Pullman Company Board of Directors Admits Wages Are Low. Washington. Robert T. Lincoln, chairman of the board of directors of the Pullman company, frankly told the United States commission on in dustrial relations here on Tuesday that he believed the system of paying sleeping car porters should be changed and that wages of Pullman car conductors con-ductors should be increased. Both of these subjects, he said, would be taken tak-en up by the company's directors in the near future. |
