Show Safe Guard the Homes It would be a wise plan for every family in Mount Pleasant Pleas-ant to have the electric wiring in their homes inspected at once. The new Electric Light Plant will furnish a much stronger current of electricity than the old plant has furnished. Many of the homes that are now using electricity were wired several years ago and we find that the wiring in some of the homes is defective in' many respects. In some instances poorly insulated wires were laid close together between cracks and crossed at points which would become dangerous under a high electric voltage. We have experienced electricians elect-ricians in this city who thor-o thor-o lghly understand their work and it would be a safe guard to every home in the community to have them inspect the wiring before the new plant is set in operation. We found in our own home a number of places that would have been dangerous in case it had been left as it was. Do not put off this little matter until some home breaks out with a fire resulting from defective de-fective wiring. |
