Show Over 1 ,000 Plan Music Festival More than 1500 young musicians musi-cians from schools in 15 communities commu-nities in Region 4 will make Mt. Pleasant their headquarters April 28 and 29 for the annual Region Four Music Festival. That was the prediction made this week by E. B. Terry, music instructor at North Sanpete high school and general chairman of the affair. Twelve bands and choruses will participate in a series of performances planned to include band and chorus concerts, instrumental in-strumental and vocal solos duets and trios and other musical musi-cal numbers. Highlight of the two-day musical musi-cal event will be the Parade of Bands slated to take place Friday Fri-day afternoon, April 29, Mr. 1t'Terry said. I Lj Students from the following communities are expected to participate: Moroni, Manti, Eph-raim, Eph-raim, Gunnison, Salina, Richfield, Rich-field, Monroe, Panguitch, Piute, Marysvale, Escalante, Tropic and Orangeville, as well as Mt. Pleasant. Three judges Jiave been appointed ap-pointed to review and judge the numbers as follows: K. J. Bird. American Fork; W. H. Terry, Hy-rum; Hy-rum; Byron D. Jones, Park City. Meantime local committees have been appointed to carry-out carry-out plans for the festival. They are General committee, E. B. Terry, chairman; J. S. Jensen, R. S. Gunn and William Burton. Housing V. A large majority of the vocal and instrumental numbers will be held on the evening of the 28th, while the main events, including in-cluding the band and orchestra concerts and the parade will be held on the 29th.
