Show Bishop Worthlin Speaker At N. S. Sessions Featured speaker at the three sessions of the North Sanpete stake quarterly conference Saturday Sat-urday evening and Sunday will be Bishop Joseph L. Worthlin of the Presiding Bishopric. Meetings will be conducted Saturday at 7:30 p. m. and Sunday Sun-day at 10 a. m. and 2 p. m. at the Mt. Pleasant South ward, according to Golden Carlston, stake president. President Carlston said the Saturday evening meeting wiL be a Priesthood Leadershij meeting for all ward bishoprics and clerks, Aaronic priesthood general secretaries, Melchizadek priesthood quorum presidencies, group leaders and secretaries members of the stake high council, coun-cil, the stake clerk and the stake presidency. The 10 a. m. and 2 p. m. sessions ses-sions Sunday will be genera: sessions open to the public, President Carlston said. Music for the morning session will be furnished by Harmon-ettes, Harmon-ettes, directed by Mrs. Ethel Ericksen, and by the Aaroni Priesthood chorus, directed by E. B. Terry. The afternoon session will feature music by the North Ward choir, directed by Mrs. Rhoda Drage with accompaniment accompani-ment by Mrs. Gene Hintze and Joe Jensen. Also providing music for the afternoon session will be a trio composed of Mrs. Que See'y Mrs. Gene Hintze and Mrs. Ivar Richardson. The Sunday evening session will be conducted at the Mt. Pleasant South ward under the direction of the Stake MIA music department, according to Mrs. Harry G. Ericksen, chairman. chair-man. The talents of musical organizations orga-nizations in all wards in the stake will be demonstrated at the meeting, Mrs. Ericksen said, with special choruses. Mrs. Ferdie Peterson will serve as reader for the program. |
