The pressure of economic sanctions threatens to weaken Japan and the Tokyo statesmen are smart enough, to know that they .must ifig"ht tfw, before aup-plies aup-plies are exhausted, or surren- der upon the best terms that thoy can secure. It is 'hard to believe that the Japs Grave any idea of abandoning abandon-ing their ambitious plans for a new order in the Far East a"d admitting that their immutable 'principles are definitely muted. |
