Governor Herbert B. Maw, Cr.aa-rr.an cf the Utah Council of Defense has announced. The offices will be the point of con-. con-. tact between t-.ose who regis- lered for civilian dee'ense arxl those chairmen who ""ill direct their activities. 1 . The announcement came after a visit to Salt Lake City of Mrs. Helen Schreiher, of San Francisco, Fran-cisco, representative of the Vol-J Vol-J nateers' Office of the Office of JL Civilian Defense 'ior the Western Region. She outlined plarj or the State Office which will su-pervhe su-pervhe and coordinate the work , ui uhe County CourxU Offices , in the various county seats. The way the offices will oper-' oper-' a'.e is this: 1. The olfice will classify those who volunteered services S ir-to the various groups for v, hlch they volunteered. . 2. If necessary', tney will be interviewed as to t-.eir qualifications qualifi-cations Lor the work which they vo'.ur.'.eered. 3.
