RULON GARN FORD Open House The children of Rulon Gam Ford, and Arvilla Roberts Ford, will hold an open house in honor of their parent's Golden Wedding anniversary this coming Sunday, Aug. 17 from 5-8 p.m. at their daughter's home, 1393 No. Main, Centerville. FRIENDS and relatives are invited to join with them in celebrating this special occasion. oc-casion. Please no gifts. Their marriage was solemnized solem-nized in the Logan temple July 16, 1925. They spent one week on their honeymoon in Yellowstone Park, with a nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Del-bert Del-bert J. Cook, who was married the same day. THE COUPLE have lived in Centerville their entire married life, where they have reared nine children. They have been very active in community and church activities. Rulon was born in Centerville Center-ville to Joseph Ford and Emma Em-ma Gam, he is a farmer, fruit raiser, also a veil worker at the temple, and is still very active. ARVILLA WAS born in Spring Cooly, Canada to Walton Wal-ton A. Roberts and Olive Corbridger. They later moved to Layton. She is occupied with various hobbies, homemaking, genealogy, painting, handiwork, and flower raising. The children honoring them are: Dr. Clynn R. Ford, and Dr. R. Newell Ford of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Dick (Elaine) Kapple of Ogden; Mrs. Arlin 0. (Kathleen) Bloomfield of Centerville; and Duane R. Ford of Bountiful. MRS. DAVID V. (Emma) Glover of West Lafayette, Ind.; Dr. J. Gam Ford of Ogden; Og-den; Mark R. Ford of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Ford have 41 grandchildren. |
