Show Secretaries Agree' On A New School Contract r At the ratification meeting held in Farmington, Aug. 6, secretaries voted to accept the raises and proposals offered them by the Davis School District. Dis-trict. The hourly increase in pay ranges from 40-80 cents depending upon their job classification. OTHER ITEMS included a policy manual which will be published for secretaries; elementary secretaries will be put on a monthly salary; a grievance procedure will be established; if a secretary is rehired in the district, she will be allowed her previous steps on the salary schedule according ac-cording to her new job. A maternity policy will be put into effect, and the Davis District will fund the increase in the cost of the medical insurance in-surance premiums, including the extended benefits for catastrophic ca-tastrophic illnesses.
