Show Women Realtors For New Chapter An array of celebrities participated par-ticipated in the gala charter banquet of the Ogden Chapter of The Womens Council of Realtors at the Defense Depot's Officers' Club Wednesday Wed-nesday night, Aug. 6. UTAH WOMEN'S Council Governor, Realtor Mary Beesley, of Bountiful Realty, emphasized the serious and practical personal and professional profes-sional growth goals of the council as she presented the charter of 23 realtors, realtor associates and affiliate members of the Ogden board who make up the newly-formed newly-formed group. Ogden Mayor Stephen A. Dirks, in speaking to the assembled as-sembled council members, partners and special guests, stated "The greatness of the American professional and business community has been created by groups, such as the Women's 'Council, who promote high standards of performance of their business, both technically and ethically." THE WOMEN'S Council of Realtors, an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors, Real-tors, whose purpose is to give additional opportunity to the women within the National Association to acquire leadership experience, more know-how within their chosen occupation, an outlet to give service to their community, to provide a forum for the development of closer personal per-sonal relationships with others and to jointly work for programs to benefit their clients and the real estate industry in-dustry as a whole, was established es-tablished in 1933 and now has chapters in all 50 states. |
