They spent much time in the geneology library in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hanson have returned to Bountiful after a prolonged vacation. Mrs. Florence Mercer attended at-tended an open house for her brother Monday at his home in Salt Lake City. Many Utah and Idaho friends and realitives called to greet the guest of honor on his 96th birthday anniversary. Mrs. Idell Shipp and Mrs. Catherine Benark were dinner guests of Mrs. Margaret Mar-garet Ledingham on Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ked-dington Ked-dington entertained at a Patio party Saturday evening. Their guests were Mr. and Mrs. Ted Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Terry, Dr. and Mrs. Wallace E. Hess. They were assisted in serving by Julie Ann Hess and Susan Keddington. Mrs. Florence Mercer entertained en-tertained at a bridge luncheon for three guests Tuesday afternoon. af-ternoon. Mrs. Ann Atkinson and five children Curtis, Kristen, Alleyson, Amy and Brandon of Smithfield were guests of Grandma Bertha Muir last Wednesday and Thursday. They visited friends in the old neighborhood and also Mr. and Mrs. Jay Mitten and family. Mrs. Iona Ruth Hoeppner has returned to her home in Oakdale, Calif, after visiting her mother, Mrs. Thelma Snider. Mrs. Hoeppner is the mother of seven children. She is a licenced truck driver, and she drives a produce truck on short runs, in the area. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Williams of Provo announce the birth of a son bom July 24, 1975. The new baby is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Max Gard of Bakersfield, Calif., former residents of Bountiful. Mrs. Leland Sessions is the great-grandmother. This birth makes three great-grandsons great-grandsons for her. Pattie, mother of the baby, graduated graduat-ed from BYU and the baby's father is a student at the Y. Mrs. Alice Patterson is recovering from a fall which occured a week ago. She suffered suf-fered many bruses. Mr. and Mrs. Gorden Stringham and grandaughter, Marilyn Muir, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Muir, have returned home from a vacation spent in Jackson Hole, Wyo. They stayed in the cabin of Mr. and Mrs. Don Stringham.
