Show Otis L. Stewart Dies In Salt Lake City Following Illness Otis L. Stewart, 68, 3965 3rd East, Salt Lake City, retired Sanpete San-pete county teacher, died of u-remia u-remia Monday, May 26 at 9:40 a. m. in a Salt Lake hospital. He was a former resident of Fairview. Mr. Stewart was born in Mil-burn, Mil-burn, Sanpete county, Dec. 5, 1878, a son of Edmond W. and Levee Teressa Terry Stewart. He had been a Salt Lake resident for about 11 years. Mr. Stewart was a school teacher teach-er in Mt. Pleasant, Milburn ,and Indianola for 15 years, and ftiore recently had been a Salt Lake county poultry raiser and farmer. farm-er. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, he was a former bishop of Milburn L D S ward and had servedf as ward clerk for a time. At the' time of his death, he was a member of the Valley Center ward high priests quorum and chairman of the geneological committee. Surviving are his widow, Hannah Han-nah Enquist Stewart, whom he married in Salt Lake City; four sons, Clyde E. Stewart, Cedar City; Don O. and Bryce E. Stewart, Stew-art, both of Salt Lake City, and Merrill Stewart, Ogden; four grandchildren; seven brothers and sisiters, C. L. Stewart, Fair-view; Fair-view; Francello and Ora L. Stewart Stew-art and Mrs. Valeria Cheney, all of Fairview; Winifred Stewart, San Francisco; Mrs. Loretta All-red, All-red, Hill Springs, Canada, and Mrs. Almeda Poulsen, Salt Lake City. Funeral services were conducted con-ducted in the Mill Creek ward chapel, Salt Lake, ' by James West, bishop of the Valley Central Cen-tral ward. Opening song, "O Devine Redeemer," Re-deemer," was sung by Wymelle Vance. Opening prayer was offered of-fered by Wayne Player. A male quartett, 'O My Father," Fa-ther," was sung by Cyrus S. and Bruce Walters, Wilford Ennis and Herbert Perry. Talk by Tracy Wright, 1st counselor coun-selor to the bishop. Also a talk by Loyal Graham. An organ solo was played by Jessie Row-sell. Row-sell. Talks were made by James F. Stoker and Lawrence Singleton. Single-ton. The quartett sang, "Christian's Good-night." A talk was given by Sherman Park, 2nd counselor, and also by Bishop West. Floyd Young sang, "Going Home." The closing prayer was offered by Albert Eastwood. Interment was in tire" Elysian Burial Gardens.
