Emily Hicks Johnson Dies at Fountain Green Home Mrs. Emily Hicks Johnson, 65, a life-long resident of Fountain Green, died Saturday night at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Verle Hill, after a lingering illness. Mrs. Johnson was born February Febru-ary 7, 1877, at Fountain Green and was the daughter of James and Emily Jackson Hicks. She was married to Peter John Johnson John-son Oct. 7, 1896. He died in 1937. Surviving are a daughter and three sons. They are Ernest L. Johnson of Evanston, Wyoming; Monte R. Johnson in the U. S. Army Ar-my Medical Corps at Fort Riley, Kansas; William B. Johnson and Mrs. Hill of Fountain Green; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed at 2 p. m. Wednesday in the Fountain Green L. D. S. chapel with Bishop Gayse Yorgason in charge. Interment was in the City cemetery, cem-etery, under the direction of Ursenbach Ur-senbach funeral home. |
