Show ' FOUNTAIN GREEN I By Special Correspondence Mrs. Elizabeth Forness of Ha-wai'i, Ha-wai'i, who is making her home at present with her brother, Arthur Ar-thur Edier, loft Saturday for a brief visit with relatives in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Edward Nielson enter-, tained at a shower Friday afternoon after-noon honoring her daughter, Geniel, who was recently mar-1 ried. A program was given and dainty refreshments were served. The bride received many beauti-! ful presents. j Mrs. Ernest Bailey and children of Nephi are spending a few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John E. Aagard at Fountain Green. Mr. and Mrs. Newel Jensen and son of Heber City spent Sunday at the home of his father, Mr. Soren Jensen. Monard Jacobsen, son of Mrs. Arvilla Jacobsen of Fountain Green, has joined the Mechanical Air Corps and will leave for training train-ing at once. Vance Aagard has registered at the B. Y. U. for the school season. sea-son. Under the direction of the A merican Legion and City officials a dance honoring seven of our boys, who are entering the U. S. Armed Service, will be held in the Amusement Hall Friday evening. Miss La Priel Aagard, a nurse at the L. D. S. hospital at Salt Lake City, will visit for a few days with her parents, Mr. and I.Irs. John E. Aagard. Pvt. Collin Green 'of the U. S. Army stationed at Oklahoma, while on leave for a few days, visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Green at Fountain Green. Mr. Lyman Seeley has received word that his son, Karl has been promoted to Staff Sergeant in the Army Air Corps and has received his wings. Verno Guymon of the U. S. Navy spent his furlough during the week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Guymon. Mr. and Mrs. Loraine Shepherd and daughter of Salt Lake City visited Saturday and Sunday with relatives in Fountain Green. Mr. and Mrs. John E. Aagard visited during the week with relatives rel-atives in Salt Lake City. Miss Jean Nielson has left for Layton, Utah where she has employment. em-ployment. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Rasmussen and daughter, Camille visited in Provor and Salt Lake City during the week. Mr. Ray Livingston of Ephraim spent Friday at Foutain Green visiting relatives and friends. Corporal Gomer Llewellyn, who is stationed in Alaska has had a pleasant visit with relatives in Fountain Green. |
