Show Jaycee-Ettes Invite Public To See Prettiest Bloons, Artful Bouquets The annual flower show sponsored by. Mt. Pleasant Jaycee-Ettes will be held in City Hall from 1 till 9 p. m. Sunday. The program will feature musical mu-sical readings and Fred Augs-burger Augs-burger and C. R. Walter of the Utah Associated Garden clubs, Salt Lake, will be the featured (speakers. ---. The show will also exhibit an heirloom doll, a doll house, showing gardens, landscaping and out-door living room. A revolving table - will display-flower display-flower arrangements. The committee is endeavoring endeavor-ing to have John H. Stansfield and Max Blain, well known artists, place a group of their paintings in the show room. Members of the Jaycee-Ettes will be hostesses at a tea and reception during the show hours. Mrs. Ruth Christopher, president presi-dent of Jaycee-Ettes, Mrs. Jewel Sorensen and Mrs. Lily March-ant March-ant are in charge of arrangements. arrange-ments. Displays must be entered en-tered before noon Sunday. Entrants En-trants must bring their own vases or containers properly labeled. All types of flowers, house plants, cacti and minia- ture arrangements may be entered. en-tered. Prizes will be awarded for the most numerous displays from any group or individual. All clubs and civic organizations have been solicited to enter flowers. V. H. Gunderson of North Sanpete high school will have on display an agricultural arrangement. |
