Show Fisneral Held Saturday For Art Leland Frandsen Funeral services for Art Leland Frandsen, who died Wednesday in a Salt Lake hospital were conducted con-ducted Saturday, at 2 p. m. in the Mt. Pleasant North L D S ward chapel by Jay Winkelman, bishop of the yard. The opening prayer was offered offer-ed by W. H. Brinton. A vocal solo, "End of A Perfect Day," was sung by Reed H. Martin, Mar-tin, accompanied by Pearl Jor-gensen. Jor-gensen. Arthur O. Neilson paid tribute to his memory and a vocal duet, "Whisperin Hope," was sung by Mr. and Mrs. Jay Hafen. Bishop O. M. Aldrich spoke of his life ajid character. A violin solo was played by Miss Louise Frandsen, accompanied accom-panied by her sister, In at the piano. Both young ladies are daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Lafayette La-fayette Frandsen of Gunnison. President H. u Jacobs paid tributes to his memory and a vocal duet, "One Fleeting Hour," was sung by Harold Arnoldsen and Pearl Jorgensen. Closing remarks were made by Bishop Jay Winkelman. The closing prayer was offered by Ray Jorgensen. Interment was in the Moroni cemetery where the grave was dedicated by Lafayette Frandsen. Burial was under direction of the Jacobs Mortuary of Ml. Pleasant. |
