Show ! MORONI ftv Special Correspondence Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hiller, Miss Inazell Cahoon and Kent Morley of Salt Lake City spent Easter Sunday with relatives in Moroni. Funeral services for James Jacobson Ja-cobson were held in the West ward chapel Thursday afternoon. Bishop Ephraim Nelson officiated. The choir sang "Abide With Me," "Take Courage, Saints," and "Cast Thy Bread Upon The Waters." Franklin Hansen and .Erastus Curtis Cur-tis offered the prayers. The speakers speak-ers were Elmo Irons, James Larsen and Bishop Nelson. Alvin Jacobson delivered a message from the quorum quor-um of the Twelve Apostles to Mrs. Jacobson and her family. Special musical numbers included includ-ed a duet, "The Upper Garden," by Mrs. Elmo Irons and Mrs. P. J. Draper, Jr.; duet, "No Night There," Mrs. Lawrence Larsen and Mrs. Ernest Anderson accompanied by M'&. Ophelia Rhodes. Miss Elaine Nielsen has returned home from Salt Lake City where she has had employment during the yast winter. Mrs. Rillie Sorensen went to Salt Lake Cit7 last Tuesdav for medical aid. H.r daughter, Keston, accompanied her. Aaron Hardy of Los Angeles, California Is visiting relatives in Moroni and Fountain Green. Vernile Jensen and Marvin Draper made a business trip to Salt Lake City last week. Mrs. Alfred Draper spent last , week In Ephraim with her daughter. daugh-ter. Verl Mellanson was operated on at the Dice Hospital Tuesday for a ruptured appendix. Miss Cathrine Fowles of Mount Pleasant spent the week-end in Moroni as the guest of Miss Myrtle Christensen. Mr. and . Mrs. Morgan Lamb spent Tuesday of last . week in Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Bradley are visiting their son, Grover, in Ely. Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Bruno and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bruno of Helper visited Sunday at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Bruno. Mrs. Parse Richards of Pleasant Grove is visiting relatives in Moroni. Mo-roni. Mrs. Maria Larson entertained the M. H. club last . week.
