Show SPRING CITY j By Special Correspondence j Leon Allred and family have returned re-turned then- home in Spring City after a years stay in Nevada. The Stake Primary officers held a social Friday evening at the heme of Miss Loa Allred in honor of Mrs. June Clausen who has rec-, ei.tly been released from the Pri-! mary Stake Bard to become presi-' dent of the Spring City ward Relief Re-lief Society. On Wednesday evening in the gymnasium the Band Mothers gave a party in hv.ncr of Ernest Terry, Ifoimer music teacher and band-j band-j master. Games were played and itfreshments were served. 125 guests were present. Mr. Terry is now music teacher at the North Sanpete high school, but has his home in Spring City. Parley Rasmussen has gone to Salt Lake City to attend the Western Wes-tern Electric Engineering School. Grover Blain has purchased and moved intj the home formerly owned by Waldemar Rasmussen. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Smith spent the past week with relatives at Kenil Worth. Mr. and Mrs. LaMont Jensen motored to Price Thursday of last week. Miss Beinice Barney has returned home after two weeks treatment at the Mt. Pleasant Hospital. She is much improved. Mr. and Mrs. Morris Bunnell are the proud parents of a baby boy i born at their heme here, Friday, October 9th. The mother was formerly for-merly Miss Christie Rasmussen of Mt. Pleasant. Mr. and Mrs. Loren Brough and Robert Brough went to Sheridan, Wyoming last week where they visited vis-ited their brother and son Lance Brough, a patient in the U. S. Veterans Vet-erans hospital at that place. Harold Olsen and family of Gun-nis;n Gun-nis;n and J. T. Jackson and family fam-ily cf Ephraim were Sunday guests at the home of Lorenzo Larsen. Mrs. Daniel Heath of Salt Lake is visiting here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Peterson. - Mi:s Helen Watson, a teacher at Park City, spent the weekend here with her father, William E. Wat-sen. Wat-sen. Maiser Bunnell of West Jordan came home last weekend to visit with his mother. Mr. and Mrs. Barney Hyde of Helper spent Sunday with their mother, Mis. Sarah E. Hyde of this city. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Ivory and children of Provo were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. James W. Blain. The local sheep owners have had a busy week separating and weighing weigh-ing their lambs. Mrs. Marie J. Allred- has returned home from Salt Lake City. |
