Show i 1 FOUNTAIN GREEN I By Special Correspondence j Mr. and Mrs. William Ricken-bach Ricken-bach of Salina are rejoicing over the arrival of a baby boy at their home on Dec. 1st. The mother was formerly Miss Ruby Hanson of our city. The grandmother, Mrs. Em'l Hansen of Fountain Green, Is with them at present. Funeral Services for H. P. Hanson, Han-son, 67, who died of dropsy at the home of his daughter, Lila Marshall Mar-shall of Salt Lake, last week, were held Saturday in the ward chapel at 1 p. m. The speakers were William Will-iam Collard, James F. Robertson, and N. E. Mikkelsen. Opening prayers were offered by C. S. An-gason An-gason and J. C. Jensen. The ward choir furnished the music for the services and a solo, "In the Upper Garden," wa(i sung by Urban S. Madsen, assisted in the chorus by the ward choir. The grave was dedicated by Jamds F. Robertson. A Temple excursion, sponsored by the High Priests' quorum, was taken to the Manti Temple last Friday. A party was given in honor of Miss Marjorie Guymon last Friday Fri-day evening at her home, where lively games were played and 1 served. Thosia present were: Ora Livingstone, Reva Aagard, Donna Guymon, Evelyn Smyth, Delia Ros-quitf Ros-quitf and Maxine Oldroyd. A meeting was held Monday evening, ev-ening, at the Junior high school, for the purpose of organizing the classes for adults under the new unemployment plan. There were 63 enthusiastic members there and the following claisses were organized: Dairying, Physical Education and Agriculture, by Seymour Mikkel-son; Mikkel-son; Carpentry, by Gleln Hansen; English, Physical Education, Home Management, by Lola Oldroyd; Piano Pi-ano teaching, by Lyda Guymon; Kindergarten, by lone Draper. Thanksgiving Day wlals a most happy time for many families, as their relatives came home for the holiday, and remained over the week end. iJewel, the 6-year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howurd Barent-Ison, Barent-Ison, har, been ill, due to blood poisoning which was caused by a blister on her foot, but she is now much improved. Miss Elda Christensen of Center-field Center-field is spending a week with Mr. and Mrs. Abe Madison. The Home Economics held their monthly meeting last Friday afternoon after-noon at the Municipal Hall, where a splendid program was enjoyed and refreshments served to a lvrge number of member. The mair. attraction was a dance, in costume, by the "Follies of 1933," by a group of club members, which received a great deal of applause. Mr. and Mrs. R. F.
