Show Nine Adult Education Classes Under Way Here Nine classes in adult education are being taught here under the federal reemployment plan to put unemployed teachers a wprfc, with two more in pixieess ef organize? tion, it was announced yesterday by Prin. C. L. Stewart. The classes are held three times weekly In the North Sanpete high school, between the hours of 7 and 10:20 p. m, The days definitely chq-en are Mondays and Wednesdays, Wednes-days, with Friday likely to be the permanent choice for third day, although the final classes wlU be held this week on Saturaay. William Clos has 2tj students in German, 12 in French, Twenty are enrolled In Mrs. Marie Barton's dramatic class; 34 in physical phys-ical education and recreation classes conducted by Arthur O. Neilson and Vert Meyrtok, Vernon Johansen has 10 harmo ny students, 10 in a men's glet club, and 6 taking orchestra. About 30 are studying piano under Mrs. Marjorle Pratt, while Reed Clark is giving a complete daily schedule in violin, with 17 pupils in Mt. Pleasant Plea-sant and others in Fairvlew and Spring City, some of them schoi?! students. Mrs. Tressa Wing Is organizing or-ganizing clan-ses in history and En-lish. |
