Show Ferron CCC Camp News Deer, deer, deer, dee., cne hun-idiCd hun-idiCd and eighty of them were checked by enrc.U:es of Company 959 during the ten day hunting s.Js.n. One hundred and ten were brought cut from Straight Canycn and seventy from Fen on Canyon. I. is estimated that approximate ap-proximate two thousand deer vere killed cn the Maiti National Forest this season. As scon as the Rock Crushing Piant is moved down from the vi-ciity vi-ciity of WilLw Lake to a point about eight miles cLser to Ferron, the Spike C;-mp at Willcw Lake will be abandoned and the men will re urn to the main camp for the winter. This will be accomplished sometime this week. Plans fr mcrri educational and recreational activities, when the men return frcm Spike Camps, are under way. Arthur D. Angel, junior officer of Company 959 was recently promoted pro-moted to Captaincy FA-Res. Captain Cap-tain Angel was heartily congratulated congratu-lated when he received his new Commission. |
