Show Funeral For J Peter C.Lund j Funrral services for Peter C. I Luhd, who passed away early Saturday Sat-urday morning in a Salt Lake hospital hos-pital of injuries received when he was run ever late Thursday afternoon after-noon by a D. & R. G. W. light engine, en-gine, were held in the Mt. Pleasant Pleas-ant North ward chapel Wednesday at 2 p. m, wilh Bishop A. L. Peter-s.n Peter-s.n cf the South ward officiating. The ward choir sang "Nearer Dear Savior to Thee" and Fred r-ei unereu uie ueneaicuon. ians Bogh of Mayfield was the first speake -. A mixed quartet, George Squire, Mrs. Opal Scovil, Bishop A. L. Petersen and Mrs. T. W. Jensen sang, "I Know That My Redeemer Lives." L. C. Rasmussen was the second speaker. A vocal duet "We Lay Thee Gently Dawn to Sleep" was given by Ernest Terry and Mrs. Jesse Schofield of Spring City. C. W. Sorensen was the next speaker. A vocal solo "Bey:nd the Dawn" was sung by Charles Schmidt. Mrs. Ruby S. Jensrn read a tribute from the Stake Relief Society. The closing song by the choir was "O My Father." C. N. Lfnc" of Salt Lake City, offered tho benediction. Interment was In the Mt. Pleasant Pleas-ant Cry Cemetery under direction of the Jacobs Mortuary. President H. C. Jacobs dedicated the grave. |
