Show FAIRVIEW By Special Correspondence A pleasant surprise party was given for Mrs. Caroline Madsen Tuesday evening, October 26th at her home. The occasion was the fiftieth anniversary cf her marriage mar-riage and the party was given by her children and grandchildren. Those from, out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Parrel Madsen, Ted and Blain Madsen of Provo, Dr. and M.S. Alden Peterson and family of Mt. Pleasant. Supper was served and a s.cial good time enjoyed. Mrs. Madstn was presented with a beautiful gift. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bills announce an-nounce the marriage of their daugh ter Aleen to Mr. Burke Stewart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Stewart. Stew-art. The marriage took place at Provo Monday. Their parents ac-cmpanied ac-cmpanied them to Provo. Immediately Im-mediately after the ceremony the young couple left for a wedding crip to Bryce Canyon. A reception for the immediate family and a fejw friends was given by the bride's parents Thursday evening. Miss' Bills has also been entertained by her friends at showers during the week. Mrs. Urban Bench entertained at a birthday dinner Sunday, October 24 h for a number of relatives in henrr of her birthday anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Cox of Orderville were gues'i of Mr. and Mrs. Amasa- Cox last weekend. Mrs. Gene Brailsfore, 75, of Springville died at her home last week. She was the daughter of Jane and Otis L. Terry, pioneers of Fairview, and she was a former resident here. She leaves two sons Lewis and Elmo Allred of Springville; Spring-ville; two brothers, William Terry of Fairview and Dell Taylor of Delta; two sisters, Mrs. Amasa Tucker and Mrs. Peter Peterson cf Fairview. ! The following Fairview people went to the funeral: Mr. and Mrs. Amasa Tucker, Lawrence Tucker, Mr. and Mrs. Hllden Tucker, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Larsen, Mrs. Myron Johnson, and two daughters Fern and Vera Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Q. Tucker, Mr. and Mrs. William Terry, Mr. and Mrs. Burns Lasson, Mr. Ole Lasson, Mrs. Nellie Carl-stcn, Carl-stcn, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Stewart and Mrs. Leoma Stewart. The Aaronic Priesthood quorums cf Fairview South ward held a banquet ban-quet and dance Saturday evening. M re than fifty boys and their partners were present and participated partici-pated in a social good time. A baby boy was boin to Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Bohne last week. Mrs. Bchne was formerly Miss Aletha White cf McKinnon, Wyoming. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Sundwall announce the arrival of a baby girl 'October 28th. Mrs. Sundwall was 'formerly Miss Donna Peterson. |
