Show Utah Lamb Crop Higher Utah's 1936 lamb crop is estimated esti-mated at 1,451.000 head as compared com-pared to 1,250,000 for 1935, and 1,472,000 for 1934, according to a report just issued by the office ol the agricultural statistician. The inc. ease is due largely to a more favorable season this year uian last, as theie was only a slight increase in-crease in the number of ewes. The report shows that the number of Ireeding ewes in Utah January 1 cf this year was 1.961,000 as com-lEiec com-lEiec with 1,921,000 for the same time in 1935. In terms of peicentages, the 193b lamb crop is 74; the 1935 crop 75, end the 1934 crop 72. |
