Show ! FOUNTAIN GREEN ! I By Special Correspondence A most enjoyable day was spent last Friday when a large number of Home Economics club members, with their husanis enjoyed a trip to Flat Canyon. The weather was ideal and" the roads were fine. A fine program was enjoyed after which everyone enjoyed luiv.h. They reached home about dusk. The Gloom Busters club was entertained en-tertained at the home of Mrs. Dorothy Dor-othy Oldroyd last Thursday aiter-: aiter-: on where the time was spent in chatting after which a delightful dinner was served. Mrs. Al Isom of Los Angeles visited vis-ited with relatives and! friends here this week. A large number of people attended attend-ed the flower show which was held in the Municial Hall last Tuesday afternoon. A program was eiilo.vtd after which the flowers were judged and light refreshments refresh-ments were served. Mr. and Mrs. Abe Madsen, Mrs. H. L. Hansen, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Coulson and daughter Joy left last Friday for a ten day trip to Idaho, Washington, Oregon and California. Verona C. Smythe entertained tin; memiers of the Ladies Literary riut at her home on Tuesday. All enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon aftfi which a delicious di.iner was sened She was assisted in serving serv-ing by the Misses Mabel and Carrol Car-rol Smith. Miss Hazel Aagard was a special guest. |
