Show SPRING CITY I By Special Correspondence The Spring City ward Relief Society So-ciety held their opening social Tuesday afternoon in the ward chapel with the following program: song, "Do What is Right"; prayer by Zina Lund; a tribute to the visiting vis-iting teachers by Rose S. Peterson; vecal duet, Sterna and Clara Allred; reading, "Advice to Relief Societies by Brigham Young"; accordion solo, so-lo, Laurina Allied; comic song by the Dwarf Quartette; reading, Anna Daunard; dance, by the four mystery mys-tery couple; talk by visiting board members, closing remarks by President Pres-ident Junetta Clausen; prayer was offered by Elisabeth Larsen. Refreshments Re-freshments were served. Mr. Joseph Beck is walking about on crutches these days. He suffered a bad cut on his right foot last week when an ax slipped while he was working on his property in the mountains. Mr. Beck was rushed, to town arid medical aid called. Mrs. Josephine Chrlstensen has gone to Spanish Fork to visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Christiansen. Mrs. Jane Justesen underwent an eye operation last week at the L. D. S. Hospital in Salt Lake City. Three Spring City people are at present patients at that institution. Besides Mrs. Justesen trereareMrs. Marie J. Allred and1 Raymond All-red. All-red. Thursday Mr. and Mrs. Francis Carlson, Mr. andl Mrs. Leonard Brown of Eureka motored here to visit relatives. Announcement is made of the marriage cf Miss Alta Russon of Lcs Angeles, California and Bruce Ellis, son of Bishop and Mrs. James F. Ellis of Spring City. A reception recep-tion In their honor was given Friday Fri-day evening in the Victory hall. All three of the sessions of the Ncrth Sanpete Stake conference held in Spring City were well attended at-tended and some .splendid advice was given.
