Show FAIRVIEW ! By Special Correspondence The South ward M. I. A. presented pre-sented a -one act contest play, "Peggy." Tuesday evening. The cast included Etta Rasmussen. Fawn Larsen, Helena Anderson, Ceva N:.mian, Robert Johnson, Worth Bench and Clyde Rigby. The evening was spent in playing 500. High score was won by Rebecca Re-becca Sanderson and consolation by Hilda Peterson. A delicious luncheon was served to twenty-five guests. The bride received many oeautiful and useful gifts. Mrs. John A. Vance was pleasantly pleas-antly surprised at a birthday party par-ty Saturday. Four tables of 5CJ .vere arranged. High score prizes were won by Mrs. Valaria Cheney and J. H. Sanderson and consolation consola-tion by Mrs. Albert Norman and ?,. A. Madsen. Dinner was served to the following Messers. and Mesdames: John A. Vance, Orson Miner, H. P. Hansen, Albert Norman, Nor-man, James H. Sanderson, Frank Cox. Aaron Cheney, E. A. Madsen. Mrs. J. F. Stewart was the recipient re-cipient of a pleasant surprise in the fonn of a birthday party Thursday evening. Games were the main diversion of the evening after which refreshments were served to the following: Mr. and Mt. J. F. H: club was entertained enter-tained at the home of Miss Dorothy Dor-othy Cox last Friday. A surprise party was held at the home of John Vance recently in honor of his 61st birthday anniversary. anni-versary. Supper was served to 30 guests. Word has been received here that Mrs. Alta Mary Olsen Lun,. dell,, 30, wife of Harold M. Lun-dcll Lun-dcll who is instructor in the Uintah Uin-tah high school, died Monady after af-ter a tonsil operation at a local hospital. She was orn at Fairview January 31,- 1903, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Heer S. Olsen of this city. She went to Vernal about twelve years ago and was an instructor in-structor in the ' public schools there for several years. Besides her parents and husband, hus-band, she is survived by three children, Bob. Donna and Wayne Lundell; fiive brothers and a sis-cr: sis-cr: Paul Lcyal, Rex, Don, and Lloyd Olsen, Vernal; and Mrs Alice Speakman, Salt Lake. Funeral services will be conducted conduct-ed in the Vernal L. D.
