Show Funeral Services Held For Mrs. Emma Peterson Funeral services were held Saturday Sat-urday in the Spring City chapel f or Mrs. Emma Downard Petersen, 59, wife of James H. Petersen, who died Wednesday from heart trouble and complications. Reid H. Allred was in charge of the services. Music was by the ward choir under direction of Ernest Er-nest Terry. The prayers were offered by F. C. Sorensen and C. A. Larsen. The speakers were Floyd Draper, Mayor May-or William Lee Allred and Reid H. Allred. Interment was in the City cemetery. ceme-tery. Mrs. Petersen, a daughter of George and Emma Downard. was born in Spring City in April, 1863. She marrieid James H. Petersen in 1917. In addition to her husband she is survived by a sister and four brothers: Mrs. Sarah Ann Fike, John. William and George Downard. Price, and Joseph Downard, Down-ard, Spring City. Among the out of town people who came for the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. J. J, Jensen, Manti; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Petersen, Mr. Gilbert Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Le-Roy Petersen, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ptina Petersen, Mr. and Mrs. A-lonzo A-lonzo Petersen, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Ho-mer Petersen, Provo; John Downard, Down-ard, Mrs. William Downard and son and Mrs. John Sax, Price. |
