Show Marriage Vows Spoken by Couple In Las Vegas, Nev. Alice Sjoben-g Cunningham of Magna and Thomas Simper drove to Las Vegas and were married Thursday, March 5 in the Little Church of the West, where the bride donned a gown of white net with yellow accessories, accented by a corsage of yellow roses. Attendants at the ceremony and witnessing the marriage were Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Nelson of Magna. After a short honeymoon and visiting friends in Salt Lake City and Magna, the couple will make their home in Pleasant Grove. Prior to and since her marriage, mar-riage, the new Mrs. Simper has received much social attention. In Magna the stake YWMIA Board where Mrs. Simper was Gleaner leader, honored her at a buffet supper. Mrs. Kay Gallant Gal-lant complimented Mrs. Simper at a personal shower and Mrs. Edith Whitaker and May Harris Har-ris at a well-attended openhouse. On Saturday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Simper entertained the Simper family in compliment to their brother and his bride. Good wishes and felioations were extended ex-tended and games and informal visiting enjoyed. Present were the honored guests, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Simper and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas R. Simper of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Milo Simper, Mr. and Mrs. Owen J. Simper, Mr. and Mrs. Don R. Simper, Murray; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Harvey, Mrs. Wesley Wes-ley Shields, Miss Geniel Simper and the host and hostess. Mrs. Daryl Huish entertained close friends on Saturday evening even-ing complimenting her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Simper. |
